Upper deck rebuild with waterproof membrane
A second-storey wood deck above a covered patio taken down to the frame, waterproofed and rebuilt in composite.
About this project
The old wood boards on the upper deck had worn out, and water was reaching the covered patio below. We removed the decking, repaired and re-levelled the framing, protected the joists, installed a waterproof membrane over the patio roof area and laid new composite decking.
