How we work

A renovation is a lot of decisions. Our job is to make each one clear, written down and yours to make.

  1. 01

You tell us about the project

Use the estimate form, call or email. A short description and a few photos are enough to start. No street address needed at this stage.

  2. 02

    A short call

We contact you to understand what you want, your timeline and your budget range, and to tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

  3. 03

    Site visit and measurements

When the project needs it, we visit to measure, look at access and check what we can of the existing structure. We agree the visit time with you in advance.

  4. 04

    Written scope and quote

You receive a written scope: what is included, what is not, the materials, the expected schedule and the price, with HST shown as a separate line. For decks, we can add a 3D model of the design.

  5. 05

    Permits and scheduling

If the project needs a permit, we prepare the drawings and information the municipality usually asks for and arrange utility locates before digging. Then we book the start date.

  6. 06

    Build

We protect floors and access paths, keep the site tidy at the end of each working day and keep you updated on progress.

  7. 07

    Walkthrough and handover

We walk through the finished work together, fix anything on the punch list and hand over care information for the materials used.

S4Hidden conditions

What happens when we open a wall and find a problem

In renovation work, opening a wall, subfloor or roofline can reveal moisture damage, rot or old wiring that nobody could see before.

If we uncover anything outside the agreed scope, we pause, photograph it, explain your options with clear pricing, and only continue after your written approval. You stay in control of the scope and the budget at every step.

Tell us what you’re planning.

Send a short description and a few photos. We’ll contact you to talk it through and, if it makes sense, arrange a visit.
